CLAIRE NOVAK
"I can barely keep it together on a good day."
SANITY LEVEL: 75
MADNESSES:

DAY OF EVENT: Day 15
THREAD LINK: HERE
Claire does not answer the phone. When the windows shatter, she suffocates slowly in her room, unable to free herself. Afterwards, she wanders through the cold of the night, in shock and unable to come to terms with what happened to her. She breaks down crying on Dean Winchester, showers her skin near raw, struggles to reconnect to her close friends and allies, and eventually bloodies her hands trying to dig up her own corpse. Her greatest pain about this is that she woke up again to begin with.

DAY OF EVENT: Day 10
THREAD LINK: HERE
Claire wakes in a strange building in the middle of a forest, navigating the mounting fear of potentially getting lost in a never changing maze of identical rooms and doors and corridors, before she finds an abandoned, section of the building, and within it, scorched documents. She awakes back in Mathias, having lost a day, but gained a skeleton key.

DAY OF EVENT: Day 10
THREAD LINK: HERE
Claire embarks on an ill-fated excursion with Phil Coulson in the dead of night, that leads to both of them nearly freezing to death. In the aftermath, cracks begin showing in Claire's carefully constructed mask of confident sass.

DAY OF EVENT: Day 1
Running through the portal after Kaia's death, instead of returning to her family where she can break down and heal, Claire finds herself transported to Mathias Township instead, surrounded by strangers. She immediately pushes her survivor's guilt and her unresolved grief far, far down, and puts on a facade of strength, snark and sass.

DAY OF EVENT: Canon, Pre-Game
At an extremely young age, Claire lost her father to possession by the angel Castiel. Shortly after, her mother abandoned her to her grandmother's care. Claire's nightly prayers went unanswered. After her grandmother's death, Claire was taken into the system, where she struggled with and fled several group homes. She fell into a bad crowed, eventually crossing paths once more with Castiel, stealing from him and antagonising him and his allies. She loses her replacement father figure after the man tries to traffick her. Claire manages to track her mother down only to hold her as she dies, killed by another angel. Taken in by the Winchesters' ally Jody, Claire finds stability she initially rebels against, and vows to become a hunter. At first reckless, she has a handful of close calls before she eventually applies herself with more skill than brute force. Still, Claire is profoundly broken and angry at the world, barely keeping it together in the face of the trauma stacking on top of her. When contracting lycanthropy, Claire volunteers for a procedure that is more likely to kill than cure her, not trusting herself to have the mental fortitude to remain in control of the curse, and cannot risk harming her loved ones. And finally, when on a mission to save the Winchesters, Claire promises to keep the Dreamwalker Kaia safe, the first girl she's developed feelings for - only for Kaia to die, and for Claire to have ot leave her body behind in another dimension to save herself.
